Suburban Water Systems teamed up with Relay for Life La Mirada/Whittier in October to identify a breast cancer patient/fighter/survivor for our annual October employee donation. We were thrilled to donate to Suburban customer Pilar Lujan from La Mirada. Pilar has been battling breast cancer for 5+ years, so we are glad to support her and her family. We were able to present our donation during our Operation Gobble event, where Pilar was able to pick up a turkey and spend time with the Suburban Water team. Next year, we look forward to participating and fundraising for Relay for Life La Mirada/Whittier to impact fighters like Pilar directly.
