It was permitted by the Public Utility Commission of Texas (PUC) in May to charge late fees due to non-payment. Accounts not paid by the due date will be assessed a late fee. In addition, the PUC lifted the restriction on disconnections as of June 13, 2020, meaning the PUC will allow for disconnections due to non-payment.
We want to ensure our customers have continuous water and wastewater services that are much needed for public health.
