Suburban Water Systems has invested in expanding our Predictive Maintenance capabilities with the introduction of two SKF Thermo Imaging cameras.
This technology allows our Maintenance Department to have the ability to analyze our electrical panels, motors and pumps by capturing the thermo conditions of these assets for the purpose of identifying imminent failures associated with friction and heat (e.g. bad electrical components, loose terminations, faulty bearings, etc.).
The Mechanics will then generate an asset thermo analysis report and corrective maintenance is then scheduled, completed and the results are validated with the thermo cameras. Suburban is excited to have this new technology to assist us in our day to day operation.
