Dear customers,
At French Settlement Water Company, our mission is to find innovative and reliable ways to enhance your water quality. With this, we want to invest in proper infrastructure projects and consistently evaluate the progress and success of them.
At this time, we have decided to discontinue ice pigging. Our team closely monitored the process during and after it was completed in various sections. We determined this project was not providing the results we were hoping for. We will now focus on other efficient ways to uphold the integrity of our pipes and enhance water quality.
We appreciate your cooperation while we conducted the ice pigging project. We hope this exercise was an opportunity to see how our alerting process works and know that our website and direct email and text alerts are key tools in keeping you informed. If you have not created an online account, we recommend creating one to be in the know of future alerts at www.swwc.com/myaccount.

Treatment Plant Project
French Settlement Water Company, which provides water service to customers in Hammond Heights, announced a $375,000 investment in the neighborhood’s water infrastructure. The investment will help increase the reliability and resiliency of the Tisdale Water Treatment Plant. Construction started at the treatment facility on January 27, 2023. No road closures are expected.
French Settlement Water Company will build a duplex pumping station to augment the existing single-pump system and install a new generator for powering the water treatment plant in the event of a weather-related or local utility power outage.
