South Carolina Water Utilities, the parent company of Palmetto Utilities, donated $50,000 to Wateree Community Action to help pay qualifying customers’ monthly bills.
“COVID has made people’s daily lives even more challenging. We understand the unexpected can happen, and we want to help support our customers who need it most,” said Craig Sorensen, President, South Carolina Water Utilities.
This donation will be essential in assisting Palmetto Utilities customers to make payments toward their monthly wastewater bills. In order to receive assistance, customers should contact Wateree Community Actions at (803) 807-9812 to learn more about qualifications and how to apply.
